Recommended by Google to select the New Tracking Code (ga.js), for maintenance and updates of the old methods are no longer running.

For each case, set the code that you see. It should look like much of the following:

<script type=”text/javascript”>
var gaJsHost = (( “https:” == document.location.protocol)? “https: / / ssl.”: “http://www.”);
document.write (unescape ( “% 3Cscript src = ‘” + gaJsHost + “google-analytics.com/ga.js’ type =’ text / javascript ‘% 3E% 3C/script% 3E”));
</ script>
<script type=”text/javascript”>
var pageTracker = _gat._getTracker ( “UA-numeric-value”);
pageTracker._initData ();
pageTracker._trackPageview ();
</ script>

Add traking code into your site

To work as chief and to have accurate statistics and analysis, should put this code on all pages of your website. When visitors enter your page, which is not added, they can not be hit and will have estimated total attendance. That analysis will not be sufficiently accurate.

Google recommend adding this code to be at the bottom of the source code of your pages, just before the closing tag of </ BODY>.

Be careful when adding the code

If there any irregularities in your browser, the default text in the box tracking code will be automatically selected, and you only need to copy it (the key combination CTRL + C or with many people right mouse button and Copy). Most likely from Google made an automatic selection for not copying errors occur and to fail to select and copy some characters from the beginning and end of tracking code (if that happens, it will not work).

Once you put on your site, verify that all has been copied and whether it is accurate.

Add the code in the static site

If your site is Html files to add in each one of them. Do not put in CSS and JS files. It is only Html pages.

Add the code in dynamic sites

The easiest way is to add in the tracking code is in the closing tag </ body>).

Beware of PHP, ASP and other scripting languages. If you insert the code in the script block, check for possible incidents that may cause errors because of the quotes and other special characters.

After installation

After successfully add code and make sure it is all right and no errors, you are ready to click Finish place where copy.
Thus, the installation will be completed.

You will be returned to the home page with profiles of websites. If you see a red box with the caption words thickened Tracking code not detected, first, wait a minute, and reload the page in the account. If the error message is still there, verify that all your code is chief.

If you see a yellow box containing the message that everything is OK and the information already collected, you can opt out of your account. You’ll have to wait about 24 hours to start seeing the first analysis and statistics
